I love it whenever I am able to save money on my every purchase. I used to be very proud of myself whenever I was able to pick up a designer clothing for less than half the price, or whenever I was able to lower my monthly electric bill. I don’t know about you, but I just feel so smart whenever I obtain savings on my purchases and be able to use it on other things. (Obviously these all happened after I recovered from bad credit).
Right now I want to talk about how you can save money on your mobile phone contract using these simple tips. I’m not an expert, but during those times of reading and researching, I’ve learned from other people’s tips that I’m also willing to share to you.
Give Your Credit a Boost
Remember one of my posts when I said that sometimes it is better to wait? It still applies here. While there are bad credit mobile contracts offered all around the web, I’d like to enlighten you that sometimes they might cost a lot, so be wise on your choices. If you have the time, pause and focus on fixing your credit by paying your bills on time, paying off other dues, and using only a small portion of your credit limit.
Go Sim Only
If you have the money to buy the phone you want or your existing phone is still pretty fresh, then you might want to consider a sim only deal. With sim only contract, you can get more credits for less than half the price. I personally think that this kind of deal is definitely worth looking at. Aside from the savings, the contracts are very flexible, and you can sign up for terms as short as 30 days.
Go Unlimited if Necessary
This option is applicable if you’re a heavy user. Sometimes you might think you’re saving money when you sign up under a contract with minimal credits, but you’ll be surprised at the end of the month that you actually paid more. If you’re likely to go overboard, just choose an all unlimited deal.
Include Your Family
I don’t know about you, but I like to be able to reach to my family every now and then, whether it’s for emergency, whenever I want to ask something, or even when I’m just being a bit…clingy. Anyway, including your family members to the plan gives you cheaper rates, sometimes you may even get free calls for calling members on the same network.
Use Mobile Apps
The mobile world today is dominated by apps. There are a number of free good apps that let you call, message, or even video chat with your loved ones here and abroad using just your internet connection. Using your mobile internet or a hotspot, it will be cheaper to just call them using these apps than using your own mobile’s services.
Right now these are the best and working tips that I have for you. In case I come across a few more in the future, I’ll make sure to post them, so stay tuned!
